Description of the Fund - Unique Business Model

The Agribusiness Investment Fund (AIF) is an innovative new infrastructure investment fund to invest in key agribusiness infrastructure investments.

The unique business model is based on:

  1. The well-established successful principle of "users of the infrastructure are its best owners".
  2. The AIF will focus on perpetual capital raising as a business.
  3. Separate bespoke ownership will focus on operating each major infrastructure asset at world's best practice standards.
  4. Unique technology enabling additional income streams not traditionally associated with infrastructure assets.
  5. Users of the assets will receive rebates or bonuses based on usage.
  6. Investor equity mechanisms to ensure retention of majority local ownership

The initial fund will raise US$5billion to make long-term investments in strategic infrastructure (to be advised).
